New London venue for 'Sports Event Management'

The first International Sports Event Management Conference and Exhibition is to still take place in London despite the failure of developers to complete Wembley Stadium - the initial venue – on time. The event will now be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre on 22 -23 November. The event is presented by Rushmans, organiser of the International Sports Security Summit for the last two years.

ISEM 2006 is staged for sports event managers, promoters, international federations, local organising committees, governing bodies and the suppliers of the services, facilities and equipment. The two-day conference program has been designed to reflect the diversity of issues facing the sector. An exhibition of services and products which supports and enhances the work of sports event managers will run alongside the conference.
