South Korea to launch semi-pro womens' league

The South Korea Women’s Football League will launch A semi-pro women’s football league in 2007 with four teams, Hyundai Steel, Daekyo Kangaroos, Seoul City Amazonness and Ilwha Chunma (and joined by newfounded team Sangmu in the second half of the inaugeral season). The league hopes to go fully professional "within several years", AFCMedia reported.
