Vietnam selects Olympic and Women's squads

The Vietnam Football Federation has announced lists of the women’s national team and the men's Olympic team to be called up in 2007. The Ho Chi Minh City Sports newspaper reported that the Olympic team will be coached by Tran Cong Minh and assistants Nguyen Van Hiep and Tran Duc Canh and the women’s team will be coached by Tran Ngoc Thai Tuan and assistants Nguyen Thuy Nga, Bui Hien Luong and Nguyen Thi Kim Hong.

Men's Olympic team:

To Vinh Loi and Tran Quoc Nghia from PISICO Binh Dinh, Nguyen Thanh Binh, Phan Thanh Hung and Tran Duc Cuong from Da Nang, Nguyen Thanh Tung from Haiphong, Nguyen Thanh Long Giang, Tran Quoc Anh, Huynh Phuc Hiep and Vo Nhat Tan from Tien Giang, Doan Viet Cuong from Dong Thap, Mai Xuan Hop and Dong Huy Thai from Thanh Hoa, Nguyen Cong Minh, Nguyen Quang Tinh from Song Lam Nghe An, Hong Trong Phu and Phung Cong Minh from Binh Duong, Chau Phong Hoa, Nguyen Quy Suu and Luong Van Duoc Em from Dong Thap, Vo Duy Nam from Khanh Hoa, Nguyen Tan Tuan from Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Ho Ngoc Huy from Southern Steel Saigon Port.

The seven players from the national team to be added to the U-23 Olympic team are Le Cong Vinh from Song Lam Nghe An, Phan Thanh Binh from Dong Thap, Nguyen Anh Duc and Nguyen Vu Phong from Binh Duong, Nguyen Van Bien from Nam Dinh, Mai Tien Thanh from Thanh Hoa and Tran Minh Chuyen from Southern Steel Saigon Port.

The women’s team:
