Indian club probes corruption after huge loss

Leading Indian football club Mohammadan Sporting has launched an internal investigation after suffering a 9-0 flogging in the National League on Saturday by Mahindra United. “It’s a complete sabotage by the players and we aren’t even ruling out possibilities of match-fixing,” club General Secretary Sultan Ahmed told the Times of India newspaper yesterday. He said a three-member committee would investigate the issue.
